ARTIST STATEMENT: My artistic goal over the last several years has been an attempt to develop an investigative process: to research and explore styles and disciplines through the creative process itself and through art history. Through this investigative search, the gathering of information or visual facts is done openly and artistic exposure is at a maximum state. New ideas call for additional artistic needs and development. Through this open format, this process has enabled me to examine new avenues of imagery and meaning. by selecting a variety of data and visual facts, I compile and laminate levels of this gathered information, generating a stronger and more powerful image.
